The bill of costs attorneys draw themselves.

Upload the matter file. Allocatur reads it, proposes every attendance it can find and prices each one at the South African court tariff in force on the day the work was done. You decide every line before the bill is exported.

A matter that ran across the November 2025 increase is priced at both rates, line by line. Work before the earliest table loaded is marked unpriced, never guessed. These are the tables, with the Gazette each came from.

High Court
Uniform Rule 70. Gazette 51056, in force from 20 September 2024, and Gazette 53572, in force from 28 November 2025.
Magistrates' Courts
Annexure 2 Table A, scales B, C and D. Gazette 53149, in force from 19 September 2025.
Counsel

Bases of taxation
Party and party and attorney and client bills on the tariff, with the 15% uplift when the order carries it. Attorney and own client bills drawn on the tariff as a starting point.
Drawing and attendance
